TSUNAMI A tsunami is a series of waves created when a body of water, such as an ocean, is rapidly displaced. Earthquakes, mass movements above or below water, some volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions, landslides, underwater earthquakes, large asteroid impacts and testing with nuclear weapons at sea all have the potential to generate a tsunami.
As a Muslim, I believed that tsunami happen because our God want to punish us and want us to take note from the tragedy. For me tsunami as a warning from God.Islam teaches that when we do suffer some misfortune, it is what our own hands have wrought, and we must seek the forgiveness of God.
In my opinion, disasters are part of warning that judgment is coming. Most people taught that tsunami in Acheh were caused by God's anger with human immorality. I strongly said that something could not happen unless it was God's will.
