Habits,important or not?

We all have habits, some good and some bad. and lot of people want to get out of them. For me it is a routine that is done in the same way for the same reason, over and over again. When a habit is negative, it harms and when a habit is positive, it gives benefit for us in interpersonal relationships. Do you ever think whether habits are important or not? Habits help us establish order and allow us to do things automatically, with little thought. When it comes to good things, habits will helps us a lot in our life. Example we can say is reading habits. It is difficult to maintain of what we are doing, but it is possible if we keep doing frequently and automatically it will become our habit. When it comes to bad things it maybe destroy our life slowly. Simple example we can take that is smoking. As we know, smoking is bad for human and also surroundings. For those who are smoker, it is hard to stop smoking, because it is already becomes their habits. All they can do maybe try to reduced the quantity of cigarette. So, I can conclude that habits sometimes help us establish order and allow us to do things automatically but sometimes it will make us uncomfortable.
